Santos committed crimes; he isn’t being charged with fabulism.
And if found guilty of a felony he should go. It hasn’t happened yet.

I think Santos’ days as a Congressman are numbered. I know this causes a massive headache for McCarthy but hey thats the end result of Republicans running campaigns that resonated so poorly that they failed to win a comfortable majority hence meaning they could have discarded Santos a long time ago.
Maybe he and Kamala can team up to run as a bi-partisan team for the White House in 2024.

He’s been arrested.
U.S. Rep. George Santos, the New York Republican infamous for fabricating key parts of his life story, was arrested on federal criminal charges on Wednesday ahead of an expected court appearance.
The indictment says Santos induced supporters to donate to a company under the false pretense that the money would be used to support his campaign. Instead, it says, he used it for personal expenses, including luxury designer clothes and to pay off his credit cards.
Santos was expected to make an initial court appearance at a federal courthouse on Long Island later Wednesday, at which time the charges against him would be unsealed.

There is loads of evidence of malfeasance by hunter. Why has the DOJ been stalling and not arresting hunter? Could maybe the DOJ be involving themselves in politics again by only arresting members of the party they don’t support?

Santos will plead guilty and Republicans will tell us it is proof that he is taking responsibility and deserves a second chance.
I half expect a sudden conversion to religion, that always plays well to the Republican base.
