Reminder - Citizens Shot at with Paintball Guns by Police During Tim Walz Curfew - on Their Porch

It happened and it’s disturbing that this would go on

This taking place under uber leftist Tim Walz as governor does not surprise me

Not sure most people realize this went on. Maybe if Timmy were less concerned about putting tampons in the mens room these citizens would not have to endure such tactics and duck into their homes.

And I wonder if federal leadership regrets the accolades given to him in good faith. I sure would.

This is the type of stuff that leftists have always historically done when in power. Russia, Germany, North Korea, China, etc… It’s every single time. It always ends the same way.

On Friday, May 29, 2020, Walz signed Executive Order 20-65, implementing a temporary nighttime curfew aiming to “provide safety for Minnesota residents from individuals who have engaged in unlawful and dangerous activity in recent days and threatened the security of lawful demonstrators and first responders.”

“It’s time to rebuild our community and that starts with safety in our streets,” Walz said in a statement at the time.

“Thousands of Minnesotans have expressed their grief and frustration in a peaceful manner. But the unlawful and dangerous actions of others, under the cover of darkness, has caused irreversible pain and damage to our community. This behavior has compromised the safety of bystanders, businesses, lawful demonstrators, and first responders. Now, we come together to restore the peace.”

is this supposed to justify officers paintballing citizens as they stood on their porch in quiet neighborhoods?

what level of psycho is that?

No matter, it’s totally OK to shoot citizens with paintballs for standing on their own property.

Libs have always been staunch supporters of using the police to enact political agendas, as you can see.

Walz ordered the curfew. He did not order them to enforce it with paintball guns. That was on the police department. Still, Walz took responsibility for the incident.

Amazing.

Facts usually are.

That’s not what you said when antifa was being picked up in unmarked vans.

I didn’t participate in the antifa threads.

I’m not too sure about the constitionality of people being ordered inside on private property.

Off of public property I’ll buy.

I’m a grown man, if I want to sit on my porch or the tailgate of my truck in my driveway, the governor can stick his curfew up his ass

Your ilk then.

This is reasonable and I agree with you. My objection was in trying to blame it on Walz like he gave the orders. He invoked the curfew. The police and national guard were responsible for enforcement. Probably a good thing to add to your policing thread. Clear case of overstepping authority.

indeed he did

and what did he say about cops paintballing citizens in nice neighborhoods on their porch?

Walz said he was in war…

is this supposed to justify maniac gestapo-like cops paintballing people on their porch as they shout orders for people to “get inside”?

not at all

so you have no point to make?
