Capitalism vs our free market, free enterprise system
Just for conversation purposes, we would do well to not refer to our system as capitalism. Instead, we should refer to it as a free market, free enterprise system.
The significant feature of “capitalism” is the investment and manipulation of capital to achieve an anticipated profit and/or goal.

Under Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez’s and Bernie Sanders’ form of capitalism, the distribution capital from our federal treasury would continue and simply create different privileged classes, and preferential treatment would remain the order of the day.

Did you know that Karl Marx popularized the word “capitalist” and “capitalist mode of production” to attack the free market system, and they appear more than 2600 times in the trilogy “Das Kapital”?
In any event, I agree with Thomas Jefferson’s First Annual Message to Congress and his description using the word “free”. ”Agriculture, manufactures, commerce, and navigation, the four pillars of our prosperity, are the most thriving when left most free to individual enterprise.”
