God never intended man to save himself, and in fact it is an impossibility ! gnosticism says that humans are divine souls trapped in the ordinary physical (or material) world. It says that the world was made by an imperfect spirit. The imperfect spirit is thought to be the same as the God of Abraham. Gnosticism is the same thing as the devil (Lucifer) calling the true God of the Universe, the devil. Gnosticism does not deal with “sin”, only “ignorance”. It is the doctrine of salvation by man’s knowledge rather than through accepting Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ’s death on the cross as forgiveness for our sins ! So, you see the false appeal of gnosticism is that you don’t have to admit that you are a “sinner”. Anybody want to carry that belief with them as they pass from this life into death ! And, by the way, purgatory is a false belief foisted upon it’s followers by Catholicism. Once you leave this life, your address for eternity is forever sealed !

Neither, I voted Libertarian, as that is where my leanings are these days, and morally the best choice for me. How do you spoil your ballot by voting?
