Because they might be in a bad mood and kick your assā€¦ They are just people.

Thatā€™s amazing.

Imagine if we used this same excuse for Firefighters or Airplane pilotsā€¦

There are just certain jobs where we should expect the professionals to act professional.

And they follow ā€œprocedureā€ instead of the law. Much less the Constitution.

Sure, In a perfect world. But the world is not perfect. Like Firefighters in Mauiā€¦ A bunch of dummies hired by political hacks.

Why should I ā€œbe niceā€ to a bunch of dummies hired by political hacks? Why should I respect clowns in costumes? Liars? Criminals?

Thatā€™s a two way street.

Because you might tee them off and they break your ribs. When all you had to do was say. ā€œHi, Officer howā€™s it going. What can I do for you?ā€ and show them your license. Iā€™m not saying itā€™s not your right to be a jerk, but ā€¦

ā€¦ but submit.

Maybe people would respect them a bit if they should respect instead of bullying.

Want respect? Show some.

and least I bring up the 50 dem intel hacks that lied about the laptop. Those were elite govt officials and they lied on purpose to effect the out come of an election. Yet, we expect lowly police officers to be perfectā€¦LMAO!

If you want to get beat up and spend lots of time in court. Go for itā€¦ Iā€™ll be nice and get to go home.

You are a good subject.

Iā€™m for as few laws as possible because of stupid, power hungry and greedy people in govt. The less laws we have the fewer chances these govt jerks can mess with you.

The King appreciates your submission.

Got it. Submit, so it perpetuates.

You too are part of the problem.

Not true. We are talking about times there is no law they are enforcing they are fishing. That wonā€™t stop.

The rhetorical part of it is whether or not it actually happened more than it was reported in the past, or whether the media practices have changed and they are more obsessed with these events now.

I think itā€™s the latter, but I have no empirical evidence to support it. Itā€™s just my gut feel on it.

At least, we should expect the professionals to act professionally ā€“ more often.

I said this in another thread about a different issue (regarding a different issue where we would expect certain things from leaders):

People can make mistakes. Sometimes horrible mistakes. We expect those issues to be minimized, and more so in certain roles. If the person demonstrates that he can NOT avoid those issues, he needs to be removed from that role. And if the ā€œmistakeā€ is actually criminal, then he need immediate removal (and whatever prosecution the act requires.)
