Whisky has alcohol content not too much lower than Clorox. Trust me germs aren’t a concern with that. Rinsing with water is all you need. I had a whisky flask for years (I was a near alcoholic what can I say) and all I did was rinse it out after using it. Never developed mold or anything.
Till someone gets trashed too early and drops the bottle. Then it’s a mess to clean up. Been there too. Granted we didn’t really sip. It was sort of a ritual to drink three shots worth at a time.
Drinking good whiskey from plastic is gross.
I prefer my whiskey to be plastic free. (If there is no other options…ya got to do what ya got to do…although I would prefer to drink from the bottle, than from plastic. Good call Guv.)
I’ll never forget that time we made giant screwdrivers out of an office water dispenser my buddy got ahold of of. Stayed trashed for the entire weekend.
I always liked one large but the Dr. in the group taught me something. No ice and you won’t drink as much. The stronger flavor satisfies the taste buds quicker. By the end of the evening, you’ve drunk half the amount and are just as satisfied.
