Question for forum libs

Do you all agree with Senator Chris Murphy that he supports trans males playing in women sports in his community?

Murphy is a disgrace and full of â– â– â– â–  to be blunt.

Still think I’m a yes for recreational and no for competitive.

Please define what you mean by recreational?

If the local community is supportive, then yes. At the local level, leave it to the people with skin in the game.

Gym class might be it, I’m doubting there are any actual recreational after school sports now. It would have to be community centers.

If it is coed out on the gym floor fine, that is the way it has always been. But the gym floor doesn’t include the girl’s/women’s locker room.

Then what happens when they’re play against another team in a different town/city?

I don’t think it worth wasting any more cycles talking about at the national level. This can be a local issue. It just far far too small of an issue to get this much air time. But conservatives have messaged on this well enough that here we are.

I’m a basketball and track coach at a middle school… my kids are also in those sports… I’m trying to think about what would make me car if a trans woman was competing against my daughter….

I probably would not care if they suck… which a large majority ( of a microscopic small group) do actually suck. If they are dominating… then I think it becomes an issue.

LAUSD is the 2nd largest school district in the country… half a milllion kids and I have not heard of 1 trans athlete competing. So either they don’t exist or they are not good athletes.

It’s a non issue in my opinion…

And what happens when they play against another team home court?

Are they dominating? If not… who cares? 99.9999% are less than mediocre.

If they are the point .0001% that dominate(these are the ones you hear about on Newsmax)… then they should playing with men.

I’d say just leave it as a local issue to be decided by local leaders.

I don’t see how you get around this being a national issue when that’s what the competition is.

Even if you go statewide, high school athletes wouldn’t be eligible for out of state college teams?

Last person I remember making that argument was Governor Faubus, or was it George Wallace?

What happens when, at the local level, protestors are shipped in to create havoc?

Local Hr. High? High School?

How’s that working out so far?

The girls that participate. The teams forced to forfeit.

The lunatics are doing what they do. But that’s their prerogative in my opinion.

Cool, another Trans thread, to discuss how .001% of the population effects the other 99.999% of the poulation.

Oh wait…they don’t. This is just another moral panic for BS political noise.
Cons are very good at that.

Let’s also talk about voter fraud that does not exist.

Or how tax cuts increase tax revenue…

The zombie lies thet never die!
