Clueless post. The fundamental disagreement is that the rights of women in particular need to be respected not ignored.
Trans or not…will Thomas and Dylan mulvaney and that freak who showered with the high school girls and man who won the women’s marathon and any other dude claiming to be a woman is still a man.
I could care less if they want to mutilate their bodies or not…not my circus not my monkey…
but the rights of actual women need to be respected…title 9 came about for a reason.
Here’s Riley Gaines who is one of my heroes reacting to the threats she received from trans activists while speaking bin San Francisco.
“People always wonder why more women aren’t speaking up (especially the female athletes who have firsthand experience competing against a male). This is why. They don’t want to be faced with an angry mob who wants to silence them, harass them, and hurt them. They don’t want to be labeled as transphobic, or a bigot, or hateful, but it doesn’t make you any of those things by acknowledging women are biologically different than men and deserve respect, safety, privacy, and equal opportunities.
You have no moral high ground until you start to respect those being disrespected. There is no moral high ground in some naked dude swinging his junk around a women’s locker room…period.
That fantasy of yours has nothing to do with the issues facing transgender people so I am not sue why you injecting it into this thread. You might ask yourself why that image is so important to you?
Pubs have nothing to run on, so they create a moral panic, against a small minority of people that are not “normal”. It is a formula that has been used by Authoritarians for quite a long time.
As a couple if these links show this has been going on for too long.
There’s plenty more. So much for the ridiculous “fantasy” claim.
I’m fine with figure out arrangements so every one has a facility…men should compete with men or start their own trans events but stay out of women’s sports. The trans do not have rights that supersede the rights of the rest of us.
