President Trump weighed-in on the current national emergency taking place along the US-Mexico border Monday night; saying ICE agents will begin removing “millions of illegal aliens” starting next week.

“Next week ICE will begin the process of removing the millions of illegal aliens who have illicitly found their way into the United States. They will be removed as fast as they come in. Mexico, using their strong immigration laws, is doing a very good job of stopping people long before they get to our Southern Border. Guatemala is getting ready to sign a Safe-Third Agreement. The only ones who won’t do anything are the Democrats in Congress. They must vote to get rid of the loopholes, and fix asylum! If so, Border Crisis will end quickly!” tweeted the Commander-in-Chief

Mexican officials agreed last week to a 45-day plan to crackdown on illegal immigration flowing through their country into the United States.

“Deployment of National Guard forces to Mexico’s southern border was due to start on Wednesday and will advance quickly under a migration control deal signed last week with the United States, Foreign Minister Marcelo Ebrard said on Wednesday,” reports Reuters.

“Starting from today, and in the coming days, the deployment is going to progress rapidly,” said Foreign Minister Marcelo Ebrard alongside Mexican President Obrador.

“The deal averted escalating import tariffs of 5% on Mexican goods, which U.S. President Donald Trump had vowed to impose unless Mexico did more to curb illegal migration into the United States,” adds the website.

US and Mexican officials have reportedly agreed to a 45-day timeline to crackdown on the flow of illegal immigrants crossing the United States’ southern border.

“A lot of things have to happen in 45 days,” Ebrard said. “We are going to do what we said we are going to do.”

The United States and Mexico reached a “signed agreement” less than two weeks ago; ending days of tough talks and forging a new deal that will suspend the White House’s 5% tariff on Mexican goods and crackdown on illegal immigration at the Southern Border.

“I am pleased to inform you that The United States of America has reached a signed agreement with Mexico. The Tariffs scheduled to be implemented by the U.S. on Monday, against Mexico, are hereby indefinitely suspended,” he said. “Mexico, in turn, has agreed to take strong measures to….stem the tide of Migration through Mexico, and to our Southern Border. This is being done to greatly reduce, or eliminate, Illegal Immigration coming from Mexico and into the United States. Details of the agreement will be released shortly by the State Department. Thank you!”

“If we are unable to make the deal, Mexico will begin paying Tariffs at the 5% level on Monday!” Trump tweeted earlier Friday.
