President Trump Delivers on Social Security Promise ---Stronger, Faster, and more Secure for all Americans

“While Democrats flail and peddle lies about Social Security, President Trump is demonstrating his unbreakable commitment to protecting and strengthening this vital program for the nearly 72 million Americans who benefit from it. By massively improving the customer service experience through technological improvements, preventing illegal aliens from accessing benefits, and delivering no taxes on Social Security through the One Big Beautiful Bill – President Trump has Made Social Security Great Again.”

— White House Assistant Press Secretary Liz Huston
President Donald J. Trump repeatedly promised to preserve and protect Social Security for every eligible American — and he has unquestionably delivered. As Social Security celebrates its 90th anniversary, the Trump Administration’s bold improvements to customer service, technology, and efficiency have positioned the agency to provide quicker access and greater value for the beneficiaries it serves.

I voted for this.

He signed a proclamation. Way to go.

All of that is great and it’s always great to see more government workers helping those who need it most.

Just as a side note social security is still subject to taxation.

He took what was supposed to end in a few years to saying that it is now safe for future generations.

Now go back to your lying snippets.

Yeah, I looked into the details.
I ain’t gettin’ much in tax relief.
Not that I need it, but it sure isn’t “No tax on Social Security”.

Saying it and it actually being safe are two different things. He lied in this document by saying that it is no longer subject to taxes. He didn’t lie about the customer support being provided efficiently by the government. I like that part a lot.

And you believe him?

“the vast majority of seniors receiving Social Security will no longer pay taxes on that income.”

It’s a proclamation. It means nothing.

You now that’s going to make the Social Security Trust Fund run out of money even faster.

Right?

“What’s in it for me?” - - - -typical Democrat response.

You could fake it and pretend you’re happy that there is relief for the people that depend on Social Security.

I was commenting on his campaign promise which turned out to be another lie.

I wasn’t trying to convince you of anything. Perhaps there is someone reading that might benefit from what I posted. I couldn’t care less what you think about anything.

I watched and listened to him from the Oval Office yesterday. This thread is for the people who don’t know and who might benefit from knowing.

Trump did something good?

“NUH UH!”

“IT’S NOT TRUE!”

“SOCIAL SECURITY IS GONNA DIE NOW!”

These are good moves by the president, I support them. But he certainly didn’t save social security “for future generations.” The long-term problems still exist and social security is still on track to cut benefits long before I start receiving them.

I could probably write in their responses. They never wander off script.

I rec’d my 5th check the other day and it’s icing on my financial cake. I now don’t even go into my savings, I just spend my SS check. The government asked that I go direct deposit instead of mailing me a check. So without an appointment, I went in to address this at the local SS office and was out in less than 10 minutes. It would appear that things are going in the right direction and who can find fault with that?

I hope you get your due my friend. I kid you not…it’s like free money. On Sunday, I’ll have completed my 44th year in my profession and am still paying a lot in taxes but…this check every month is positively gratifying. :sunglasses: :tumbler_glass:
