Predictions for the next four years of a second Trump Presidency

This has never happened without a major recession.

But the coastal cities still have the numbers and remain blue. I don’t see a red California in our future.

St. Simons Island in Georgia is as red as they come. At almost every store I saw Trump merchandise. Smokey the Bear wearing a MAGA hat, Trump Vance yard signs, stickers, buttons, T-shirts, etc. It was refreshing.

For california any red there seems like a misnomer. Yeah youre probably right but trump pulled numbers even from democrat strong holds.

Oh good!
They’re reporting on inflation now.

My prediction:
More of this style reporting to come.

In 2026 ? Not likely. Only one Republican from a blue state is up for re-election and that’s Susan Collins.

Meanwhile Dem seats in GA, MI, NV, PA, AZ and GA are up.

And arguing for them like they always knew what they are and always supported them.

Free market!!!

If Republicans keep control of the House, there will not be a bunch of attack Trump committees set up,which will remove pressure. Having controls of the Senate will allow nominees to be approved without making deals with Democrats, such as recusals.

So 2017-2018?

Point. But I don’t think there are enough Republican Congresspersons willing to play that game today. We will find out.

I think Thomas should be strongly encouraged to retire in the next year or two. There is no better time to replace him. He would be 80 at the end of Trump’s term. I hadn’t really thought about Alito … he is two years younger … but he should probably go too before Trump leaves. There is no guarantee of someone (like Vance) filling Trump’s seat in 2028. We (The USA) can’t afford to have a liberal majority Court.

One of the primary reasons to vote for Trump was his authority to influence the Federal Courts. His court appointments were critical during Biden’s reign.

She has type 1 diabetes. She can easily outlive Trump’s term.

Republicans will do all of what Trump requests no tax on tips, 6k additional child tax credit, immigration reform bill with a deportation on % of illegals and % of Asylum seekers who don’t have real claims. Liberal governors will fight the deportation laws and lose at the SCOTUS level because immigration is federal law, the people will become even more pissed that the Dems aren’t working with the republicans and lose even more seats in the 2026 midterms. Liberals have yet to show they are intelligent enough to figure out why they lost.

Trumps going to pass a majority of what RFK wants and it will unify the disenchanted disenfranchised moderate left. Trump already said he will pass all RFK wants outside fracking and oil production.

I thought Mitch McConnell’s seat is up in Kentucky. If so you would have to think the Dems will put up Andy Bershear.

Much like Hogan, Besheaer could run against a deceased Republican and still lose. Kentucky will never allow a democrat in the senate:

A significant chunk of that Congress’ GOP were anti-Trump.

We still have to see what the next Congress will bring. Some of the same people are still in there. Some may have tempered their outlook. We’ll know soon enough.
