I am wondering if there are opinions here on predatory snails. They clearly have advantages over their prey. Do you think this gives them an unfair advantage?
What about the predatory worms? I’d say they’re a bigger issue. lol
Is that a trick question? If they are indigenous to the area they live in, there is likely a natural balance between prey and predator, more or less. Bats don’t have an unfair advantage over mosquitoes because mosquitoes reproduce in such huge numbers for example, and without human interference, a balance is generally maintained. Discounting bat diseases like white nose syndrome which has devastated the bat population.
