Politics In Retail Transaction Question

And they shouldn’t cut mattress tags.

Retail clerks, whether they work for a State store or for a private store need to mind their own ******* business and not ask prying ******* questions.

Adam may not have handled the situation in the best manner, but the clerk was at first fault for being a nosy **** tard.

Adam should simply have brushed the question aside by saying something to the effect of it was in another city, etc, that would have exposed revealing any political leanings.

And we wonder why people are ■■■■■■■■ today.

Can’t even make conversation without being called a ■■■■■■■■■

Maybe the small talk wasn’t lib approved but damn. I don’t want to live in your world.

Nosy? He didn’t ask for his bank account number or mother’s measurements, it was a friendly inquiry.

Or apparently, people don’t like to be quizzed on political leanings while making retail purchases by clerks at an establishment.

Safiel has spoken!

And yeah Safiel I agree. The reaction on my part should have been better.

Quizzed? There was no right or wrong answer nor a grade.

Quizzed? I would say it was small talk based on the fact he was from a location where the clerk knew there had just been a rally. Honestly, I don’t think there was an ulterior motive at all.

Truthfully, I don’t either. And I don’t think @Adam does either. His initial Post was asking if he overreacted.

And I would say yes.

There is nothing wrong with disagreeing with someone you don’t know ( such as a clerk) but you can be kind about it.

You and I don’t walk around looking to be offended or search through threads to find something to be outraged about.

We must be doing something wrong.

He obviously did and was responsible for the the snarky final words from the clerk.
