The GOP and White House called-out social media platform Twitter Thursday after they suspended Sen. Mitch McConnell’s campaign account for posting threats made against the Republican leader.
“The National Republican Senatorial Committee on Thursday said it won’t spend money on Twitter until the situation is ‘adequately addressed.’ A top official with the Republican National Committee also said the RNC and the Trump campaign would not spend money with Twitter ‘until they address this disgusting bias,'” reports Fox News.

“If the internet is going to be presented as this egalitarian platform and most of Twitter is liberal cesspools of venom, then at least the president wants some fairness in the system,” said one White House official.
“Twitter locked our account for posting the video of real-world, violent threats made against Mitch McConnell,” McConnell campaign manager Kevin Golden said in a statement on Wednesday. “This is the problem with the speech police in America today.”
