I can think of several reasons to shoot a guy in the back that’s headed for a car full of children.
I’ll also wait for a bit more information before judging whether any of those scenarios are accurate, or whether it really was unjustified. Recent history provides plenty of examples of both, and even in the cases that turned out justified the left always gets burned by jumping on the bandwagon early.
Justify what? It was clearly excessive, even if the guy was reaching for a gun. Can’t charge the guy if he dies.

IF deadly force was authorized (hypothetical) why is 7 shots excessive? If you shoot, you don’t aim to wound, why is seven shots aimed to kill more excessive than one or two shots aimed to kill?
There’s a video of a cop shooting a guy seven times in the back. Pray he lives. Because otherwise this country is going to burn again. Still might.

At least a half dozen witnesses said that the man had tried to break up a fight between the two women outside a home at 2805 40th St. and that police had attempted to use a Taser on the man prior to the shooting. Then, they heard at least seven gunshots ring out.
Well, some of it will burn but not my part. My condolences if you live near those who would but hey, that’s the price of being “progressive”.

If it isn’t a liberal enclave, violent protesters will be arrested instead of allowed to riot at will. If protesters started burning things down around here, they wouldn’t be doing it for long.

This is what I am advocating for…Cooperate with the cops and let the system work from there. It takes some time to get to the truth when emotions run at an elevated rate.
I care as much about criminals being shot by cops as much as the left cares about cops being shot by criminals.

Yeah cause you live in the magical world of Indiana where somehow you’re immune to all this. I mean I guess the lack of any real cities in your state with the doubtful exception of Indianapolis could help.
When a suspect does not STOP…Show hands…remain still…The police are trained to protect their life and the safety of the public.
Failure to cooperate creates the danger…Not the PD…They are serving the public good.
We need a public advocacy campaign for this…having a common language is important for this reason also.
