Vice President Mike Pence spoke with Sean Hannity at the CPAC convention Thursday on the government’s response to a potential Coronavirus outbreak on American soil; saying the administration is “ready for anything.”
“I look at the media reaction to this, it’s almost instantaneous. They’re politicizing what’s a serious issue. Your reaction?” asked Hannity.
“The President made it clear that we’re all in this together. This is not the time for politics… Working with state and local officials, the President also directed me to reach out to Speaker Pelosi, Senator Schumer,” said Pence.
“We want to push politics aside, we want to make sure that we get the resources we need to respond to this,” he added. “We’re ready, we’re ready for anything. We will prepare for whatever may come.”
