Nancy Pelosi outlined her party’s vision for the future of the country this week; detailing the Democratic plot to cause total gridlock for the Trump administration should they retake control of Congress this fall.
The House Minority Leader was speaking with CNN’s Christiane Amanpour Tuesday when she was asked if her party plans on launching a series of anti-Trump investigations if successful this November.
“There are many people who wonder whether Democratic-led committees in the House will start to hold a series of investigations on this administration,” said Amanpour.
“In terms of what we would do in terms of legislation, we’ve established that,” said Pelosi. “We have a responsibility to be ready. I’ve asked top Democrats on these committees to establish priorities moving forward… This cannot be scattershot. We want to seek the truth about intervention in our elections.”
