These elitist snobs are in Cuba to provide aid and comfort to a regime who has been oppressing, imprisoning, and impoverishing their own people for over 60 years. These privileged fools are provided a free trip to Cuba where they stay in a ritzy hotel, paint murals and hang out like tourists. They will eat better in one day than the Cubans will eat in a month. And they do every thing they can to prop up the regime who caused it. Self righteous, ignorant, virtue signaling, dipshiddery. Rich white women show up to paint pictures of poor brown people. Just gross. Enjoy your free vacation ladies.

Dont know a lot about code pink but i have had family members and friends holiday in Cuba. It’s quite a popular destination.
I would love to visit cuba but that does not mean I support their government, just like I would love to visit NK, China and Russia does not imply support for those governments

Of course it’s a “quite popular destination.” The locals starve while the tourists eat like kings. Would you feel guilty knowing that the people serving you your lavish meals will never have a chance to eat like that? I did. Here’s my favorite line.
imagine being a country full of oppressed artists, painters, and revolutionaries who get arrested for spray painting, just to watch some dumb privileged western ■■■■come into your country, stay in a 5 star hotel, eat your bread and food during a food shortage, and paint the walls of the street you grew up on in the name of “liberation.” doing something an actual Cuban would be arrested for doing.

On our last trip, we brought 50-pound bags of powdered milk to the children’s hospital. With Trump now imposing a brutal, medieval siege on the island, this humanitarian aid is more critical than ever. But lentils and milk cannot power a country. What Cubans really need is oil.

I’m traveling to Cuba for the first time on March 21 to be in Havana with the Nuestra América Convoy, in which people from dozens of countries representing a variety of organizations will break the blockade, bringing much needed supplies to the island. CODEPINK is bringing 6,300 pounds of medical equipment and medicine with help from Global Health Partners and others. These supplies will be given to clinics, hospitals and maternity centers as Cuba deals with the latest horrifying crime against humanity perpetrated by the United States
End the embargo.

All I was saying is that Cuba has a thriving tourist industry that many Americans are not aware of.
What about Americans who travel to Mexico or the Caribbean islands with high levels of poverty compared to the US? What about Dubai which is becoming an increasingly popular tourist destination despite the Emirates have a government that is the anthesis of what we enjoy here in the US.
We are going to save the people of Cuba by denying them the essentials for living and killing many of them. Sounds like a good plan. In what world is Cuba currently a threat to the United States?

Yep, definitely people starving in Haiti. at 6K per capita income there are people starving in Jamaica as well. Suriname’s 8K per capital - probably the same. Heck even the middle Caricom countries have starving people; countries like Saint Vincent and Dominica.
Makes you wonder why the AWFL’s chose a communist government to support. There are many places where they can show fake compassion for poor brown people.
