I know as a 17 year old. I knew that forcing my way into a girls pants was wrong. My dad always told me to be a gentleman. So yeah…I am not about forcing myself on anyone at anytime. My girlfriend at 17 is my wife currently. She wouldn’t be here today if I was a jerk back then.

I have a problem with the way this is being handled in the press and politically. Which is why I say let the FBI questions all parties. Then give their findings to the committee. Let the committee sort it all out. Then lets have a vote.

The forum covers a wide range of world views. In this case, we got a sample from a lib who claims that when you are old enough to “breed”, you should be considered an adult.

Aberrant sexual permissiveness is core to liberalism. Libs always claim that pedophilia is different than the other perversions they defend because there cannot be “consent” with a child.

But look what will happen if this view of “breed = adult” prevails. Voila… the right to consent once you are 12 or 13. That is the goal isn’t it? Make it legal for a 13 year old to give consent to a 40 year old? If course it is. It becomes obvious when you look at what precipitated the hate that libs have for Russia. We were doing fine, Russia and the US. Then Russia passed a law to protect their children from gay indoctrination. BAM. Everything changed.

If you watch these posts here by libs, eventually you will see them make a mistake and post their real view.

I think she’s trying to make the correlation that since sexual harassment wasn’t against the law back then that we should not pay any more attention to the alleged attempted rape.

And how do you find out if the alleged sexual assault occurred or not?

There is no way to say with absolute certainty what happened. The next best thing is to have both the accuser and the accused testify before the Senate Judiciary committee under oath. There is nothing the FBI could do that the Senate Judiciary committee can’t do.

Yes. Christine Blasley Ford says she was 15. So if the incident happened as she said then that would make Kavenaugh 17. It’s not rocket science, he was born 2 year before he was.

Another thought crossed my mind. This isn’t Kavanaugh’s first confirmation hearing. I’m wondering why the accuser didn’t come forward with his earlier confirmation hearing 12 years ago.

This is so obvious, why is nobody getting it? First, there really is no evidence. Have you noticed that nearly every time an allegation such as this is made, it’s by some liberal college professor type? Why is it that only far left liberals seem to get assaulted by conservatives? But that’s not the main point. Why doesn’t anybody notice the obvious? THEY WERE CHILDREN!!!
We don’t use adult standards to judge children. How many people that you know were out of control as kids but grew up to be fine adults? I know many. It is incredibly stooopid to hold kids to adult standards. There is a reason for juvenile courts. There is a reason that we don’t let them vote. They have no discipline, no self control and they are nit wits by nature. This isn’t a murder case. stupid kids do stupid things because they are stupid. If this happened, the police should have been called and juvenile court should have handled it. It’s far too late to hold somebody accountable for alleged juvenile crimes.

This is your idea of “common sense” ? You’re dismissing an attempted sexual assault, alleged, by a 17-year old boy, as just boys being boys, basically. Could be mistaken, but I’m guessing that’s not what you would say if it were your 15-year old daughter at the receiving end of this boy’s actions.

Ford was born in 1967, Kavenaugh was born in 1965. If she was 15 that would make him 17.
1967 -1965 = 2
