In phoenix a few years ago, a bunch of people who were critical of the police were challenged to go through the training for deadly force use. If I remember correctly, they all used deadly force. Actually gave them a new perspective.

Of course he’s wrong.
But you don’t know that. you don’t know what was said other than the 50 times or whatnot.
They are trained. Allegedly.
No question about that.
But I’m perfectly fine with assuming that the conversation was more than just 50 iterations of “get out of the car” … “no”.
You OK with assuming that’s all the conversation contained?
Because I’m also OK with concluding the idiocy of anyone who wants to assume that was the extent of the conversation. And that’s the requisite foundation it takes to suggest that “Being told to get out of the car 50 times isn’t more talking other than in the literal sense.”
In this case they didn’t adequately employ whatever training they had in caution and self defense.
But the Utah cops from the OP story certainly did.
I’ve been seeing a lot of those cop audit videos on my Facebook feed recently. That’s exactly how many of the cop to driver conversations go.
