Qassem was quoted as saying… “Noooooooo!!!”

Israel is dependent on US weapons, military aid, and backup from the US military. Israel planned to strike oil and nuclear facilities but backed off under US pressure.

So far there is no evidence of real damage to Iran. According to Alistair Crooke’s sources in Israel, the Israeli pilots aborted the raid when saw that an air-defense system was unexpectedly locking on their aircraft even before they entered Iranian airspace.

If the report is true, it appears that Russian air-defense systems in Iran were able to defeat stealthy features of Israeli F-35s. The implications are huge for the US as well as Israel.

Anybody wanna open a betting pool on how long he lasts before he eats a cruise missile? I give him one week.

The most surprising thing to me about that charade is Napolitano’s participation. Recent satellite imagery clearly shows Israel’s assessments are accurate and that those like Alastair Crooke, with an obvious agenda, are full of it. Nothing they say is remotely accurate given the overwhelming evidence showing otherwise.

As to Russia’s supposed military prowess on the battlefield, I can’t believe Crooke is actually claiming as much with a straight face, given Russia’s miserable performance against lowly Ukraine.

As to Alastair Crooke, he is director and founder of “Conflicts Forum” based in Beirut. There is your anti-Israel agenda. Given your responses on this topic, it’s really not surprising that you would point to such like-minded garbage. Not having followed Napolitano for some time, I’m somewhat surprised to see him associated with this kind of anti-Israel crowd.

I am fine with western media trumpeting reports about alleged damage. Israel needs a face-saving excuse to stop escalation.

The only other real alternative without the US directly joining the attack is an Israeli nuclear first strike on Iran.

Are you implying the satellite images are fake? Are we supposed to believe your like-minded anti-Israel bloggers over the experts with first-hand knowledge and experience?

I’ve presented factual information, yet you have provided nothing but speculation, conjecture and a whole lot of anti-Israel rhetoric…

Oh and then there is Alastair Crooke. I still can’t stop from laughing at that buffoon.

And we can’t forget about OMT news based out of Lebanon.

Here is one of my favorites.

I am fine with Israel declaring a great victory. If you want to believe Israeli propaganda, that is your problem. Did they ever find the 40 beheaded Israeli babies?

The reality is there is no evidence that Israeli planes entered Iranian air space:

They attacked Iran from the U.S. controlled air spaces of Syria, Iraq and Jordan with long range air-launched missiles.

We know this because the booster parts of those missiles fell within Iraq . . .

The Defense Minister of Iran has confirmed that no Israeli fighter jets had entered Iranian airspace.

There were eye witness reports from Iran which described an attack on a industrial building as having come from cruise missile like drones in a northern to southern direction. This would be consistent with drones launched by Israeli (proxy?) forces from Azerbaijan.

In total the outcome of the attack seems to have been minor. An old HAWK anti-air missile site seems to have been destroyed. A S-300 air defense site showed some signs of disturbances but those might have been caused by the launch of its missiles. Three industrial buildings, allegedly used for solid fuel missile motor production, have been hit. But there have been no reports of secondary explosions at those sites which one would expect if fuel had been hit.

The Israeli attack thus ended up to be, intentionally or not, a minor affair.

Considering they were using F-35s and there’s no confirmation Iran had its S400 systems active or any weather radars pointed in their general direction it’s likely they never even knew about it until S300 sites started getting blast damage.

The S400 can’t direct a missile onto an F-35 but they do have a wide band radar similar to a weather radar so they can tell when a stealth aircraft is nearby just due to its physical size. They just can’t tell you exactly where it’s at.

Even Iran sources say some Israeli planes entered Iran’s air space. That is no longer in dispute, except maybe by your like-minded blogger friends. :astonished:

Show me where Israel is declaring a great victory. I see no great victory celebration, but feel free to show me.

Actually, in all of my responses, I haven’t yet quoted a single Israeli source.

Moonofalabama.org. I seemed to have missed that esteemed credible organization. :joy:

Yes, the “Iran source” cited in the CNN article is based in London, recently moved to Washington DC, and is run by Iranian dissidents.

For real. Israel has been underplaying the hell out of this outside of announcing they did it.

Israel has rendered Iran mostly defenseless… watch what happens Nov 6…

Don’t stay up too late waiting for the Great Pumpkin tonight . . .

Very revealing your response is.

Iran International is a thorn in the Iranian regime’s side. They are likely in a position to accurately report what is going on inside that country, much to the chagrin of the Iranian leadership. It’s ironic that you don’t see the government threats against the paper as a problem. But it’s not surprising you would point to the Iranian government statements as proof that most of Israel’s attack was blunted by superior Iranian defenses and that no Israeli plane entered Iranian airspace.

So basically, while the western world is quickly discovering for themselves the magnitude and significance of Israel’s strike on Iran, you and other like-minded anti-Israel puppets seem to be comfortable regurgitating Iran’s official line.
