They need to wait till and if Trump wins and starts drilling again, THEN they need to put ALL Iran’s oil wells on fire.
Trump would freeze their assets and Iran would be back to stone-age in a zippy.
Israelis targeted air defense, missile manufacturing facilities and missile launch sites.
I think they will strike again at targets that will cripple Iran’s economy and nuclear facilities. The people might rise against the Mad Moolahs.
A good thing for the world IMO
Here is my take. Israel sent a powerful message to the leadership but allowed them a graceful face-saving exit from further escalation. Israel demonstrated its ability to strike pretty much anywhere in Iran with impunity and pinpoint accuracy.
There were no headlines showing the skies lighting up massive explosions, as there was with Iraq and still are with Lebanon and Gaza. The Israeli strikes were low profile, but highly effective.
Thus far all we’ve heard from Tehran is that damage was minimal, thanks to Iran’s claimed superior defensive systems. They went out of their way to show life continuing on as normal with never a concern. For me it looks like a possible signal that Iran won’t seek further escalation.
On the flip side Israel seems keeping their success close to the vest. No chest thumping and no sharing of videos showing their prowess and air superiority. They are allowing Iran a way out.
Hey, no argument from me. I’m simply stating what Iran is claiming. It is significant as a face-saving gesture that might avert further escalation. I’m 100 percent certain Iran leadership knows they got their heads handed to them.
I suspect they know the IAF went easy on them. Judging by the reports they left the S-400 sites alone and only attacked S-300 sites. Only four Iranian military personnel were killed.
That was intentional on Israel’s part for sure. Enough of a strike to let Iran know they could hit them a lot harder if they found it necessary.
the air defense system worked perfectly, blocking every bomb fired at them and preventing them from hitting the ground below them! No strike successfully hit Iranian “territory”
I mean what could they really do about it? The S-300s can’t see F35s and the S-400 can only really detect that they are somewhere in the area, not put a missile onto trajectory for an assault. Plus like you said they probably didn’t even have the S-400s turned on to avoid getting a HARM straight up their asses.
The Iranian Air Force is a rock and roll museum of American planes that were built in the 70s. 90% of it is F-5s and F-4s, neither of which can even see a F-35 much less vector into an attack approach. The F-14As can’t do it either and most of them aren’t even flyable right now due to lack of spares. Only thing they could do is hopefully point their stupidly powerful AW-9 in the general direction of an Israeli pilot and hope they give him cancer later on in life.
Those who continue to think Iran provides any kind of a threat to Israel don’t really understand just how antiquated Iran’s equipment is. Israel has state-of-the art equipment with training and expertise that is second to none, except maybe the U.S.
I have to believe the Iranian leadership is fully aware of that fact. If I were a betting man, I would bet that Iran will not retaliate any further.
Iran is clearly looking for a way to go back down the deescalation chain. Their statements about “limited damage” and such points to that. Israel also gave them a way to save face by not going all out in the strike and they intentionally left oil extraction and nuclear research facilities alone.
My thoughts exactly. Israel is going out of their way to downplay the effectiveness of their strike. I believe that is the safest path to de-escalation. Iran knows how effective it was and how much worse it will be for them if they don’t de-escalate.
