NYC citizens grow a spine and protest illegal foreign nationals' takeover of NYC

For now …

You are absolutely wrong. What asylum conditions exist in Venezuela?

To qualify for asylum one must be able to demonstrate that they were persecuted or have a fear of persecution in their home country due to their: race, religion, nationality, social group, or political opinion.

How many of the millions of illegals who are here can attest to and prove that? The fact is, the vast majority of those who are here illegally and are claiming asylum (because they know the key code words) are here purely for economic and quality of existence reasons alone.

By law, it doesn’t make any difference.

Maybe the government will put you on the street so they have a place to house them. :smirk:

And that 5% should wait in Mexico (or Colombia, or Panama) while we process their application.

There are no ports of entry that require hiring a Coyote to guide you across the desert, hiding in a secret compartment in a truck or wading across a river. NONE!

And they can ALL wait there 5-10 years until their asylum claims can be legally adjudicated! There’s absolutely NOTHING in asylum law that says a country MUST ALLOW them into the country before that.

from the cfr website.

“However, the U.S. State Department also has concerns regarding Maduro’s human rights record and the employment of armed gangs, known as colectivos, to suppress opposition. Armed groups also operate across the porous Colombia-Venezuela border, complicating efforts to bring peace and stability to Colombia. Finally, Venezuela’s isolation has pushed it to ally with other U.S.-sanctioned states like Cuba and Iran. “
