This is a real thing, especially when it comes to handing out clearances and giving folks access to sensitive information. Iā€™m not saying that this is exclusive to this administration because I bet it has happen in previous administrations, but the frequency of this happening currently is problematic and dangerous. Unfortunately it starts from the very top.

Maybe you should tell Ms. Chang that it doesnā€™t matter since she felt it mattered enough that it compelled her to lie about it.

My employer wouldnā€™t want me to misrepresent anything on my resume including which university I went to.
