No Kings rally weekend vs. Trump's big beautiful Army Parade

I hate that Leavitt perpetuates the myth that protestors hate the US. Though in her mind you only hate the US if you are protesting against the Trump admijistration.

she speaks for him. be reasonable.

in light of LA trump is obviously referring to non-peaceful protesting. he depends on people to be rational and not think he doesnt support 1rst amend. he should know better than to expect that - i’ll give you that

lol be reasonable and ignore what he said for the person that speaks for him? Biden never left.

no. listen to his spoke-person for the context. not abc narrative.

btw this is in the abc article - near the bottom of course:

“From a Secret Service perspective, it’s simply people using that first amendment right to protest because we’re not going to do anything with that," said Matt McCool, the special agent in charge of the Secret Service’s Washington Field Office. “But if that turns violent or any laws are broken, that’s when [the Metropolitan Police Department], Park Police, Secret Service will be involved.”

If he said it, he didn’t mean it.
If he meant it, it was a joke.
If it wasn’t a joke, it isn’t illegal.
If it’s illegal, Biden did something worse.

while you ignore everything else that is the reality

were any peaceful protests “met with heavy force”?

no. there you go

No idea.

How many were paid to attend the parade?

Bingo!

All I ever hear is that Trump says what he means, and means what he says.

Unless it’s something awful. Then other people say he meant something different.

But he never follows suit after their clarifications. He never backs down. Which folks also like.

You can’t have your cake and eat it too. He meant what he said.

I honestly don’t have that big of an issue with having a military parade. The cost is the only thing that bothers me. That said, it’s clear that the parade was hastily planned. Given more time and preparation, it could have been a better tribute and celebration for the Army.

100 percent agree. They were done dirty, this wasn’t it.

which contradicts what his spokesperson said (who conveys the msg of the admin) and officials in his admin (which even abc showed you) and what actually happened

so what should you believe?

I think you hit on the root cause, hastily planned and little time for creativity, rehearsals and socializing with the public and building excitement.

It did not do the US Army justice in celebrating its 250th birthday.

Did you ever give Biden and his press secretary such latittude

if biden was characterized by a rabidly anti-biden media over his not believing the first amend, and the first black lesbian press sec said “of course he allows peaceful protests what a stupid question” i would believe her, despite how awful she was

esp if others in the admin said so, and esp if peaceful protestors were not actually “met with heavy force”

but, i am rational

Which is it? Sounds like bitching for the sake of bitching.

what is the proof that it was?

Two months is not enough time to plan a parade like this. It takes years of planning to be done properly.

The Army’s 250th birthday celebration has been in the works for two years, Army officials said. But adding a parade was the Trump White House’s idea, so planning for that began only two months ago.

who says?

define “properly”

no proof. just bitchy opinion

So, in your mind, this is another failure stemming from the Biden administration.
