We have the means to control it now not later even the lead virologist who’s lab it likely came from in China is now saying mutations are going to render the current vaccines useless.

I don’t know I live in Seattle a lot of my neighbors are on the left and a lot of them are just anti anything put in their bodies unless it’s organic or gluten free quiet a few are living the dull life of staying in doors 24/7 getting groceries once a week at night.

They have no problem wearing 4 masks if needed but are not sticking no vaccines in them. They are a lot of people like that here and south of me in Oregon. There are also a lot of minorities hesitant to get the shot as well as what people are saying some on the right.

Most of us don’t associate with Greene I don’t even know what the lady sounds like. I would like to see everyone get the vaccine at the same time I understand their hesitancy the thing isn’t even approved yet by the FDA it’s not craziness to be hesitant. And even though I am fully vaccinated I can see how its being used as a tool to bash people with and that should stop and turn to positive encouragement instead of this pariah nonsense.

I also don’t understand why this is being put out there so frivolously as a right/left issue when clearly the CDC paints a more diverse picture on who has been vaccinated in the states.

“As of August 2, 2021, CDC reported that race/ethnicity was known for 58% of people who had received at least one dose of the vaccine. Among this group,
nearly two thirds were White (59%)
10% were Black
16% were Hispanic
6% were Asian
1% were American Indian or Alaska Native, and <1%”

How does one comb through those numbers and make it a left/right issue. We can see it’s mostly white people who has been vaccinated according to the CDC.

Saying that the “stick” approach in the “carrot and stick” analogy needs to be used does not mean “bullying”

It means that the positive incentives have failed to achieve goals so negative incentives need to be implemented.

While that is a broad range and I do believe that the negative incentives can go too far very fast… it does not mean that “bullying” is on the table.

That’s what i am hearing as well on news outlets. The lib media probably isn’t even reporting the low percentage of minorities that are vaccinated.

So it’s OK to prevent kid playing baseball with other kids because he has glasses?

Define ‘plenty of people’.

Which means boosters until the spread is under control worldwide to limit it to outbreaks and not a pandemic.

I hate those people. I really do. It is dumb and highly priviledged way to live.

Yep… and that is a challenge that needs to be overcome.

Which is why I said that I hate to saddle people with craziest… I think that it is unfair. But it is a problem.

And to conclude… it shouldn’t be a left/right issue. But it is.

It isn’t what I would like the world too be… but I lost.

Are the wearing of glasses going to enable the spread of a deadly respiratory disease?

You either do this or else is classic example of bullying.

Either do this or you can’t do that.

Eat your vegetables so you can have dessert.

Not bullying.

Does it matter?

Yes. Yes it does.

Because we are talking about mitigating a respiratory disease that can cause harm to others.

A more apt analogy would be if we would let a blind person drive a car.

Either that or they just don’t care. My experience in life is that bullies have to be stood up to.
