Despite Congressman Adam Schiff’s repeated assertions that the case against President Trump is a slam-dunk, Senator Elizabeth Warren suggested Monday night the evidence to remove the Commander-in-Chief remains “hidden” from the public.

“Try as they might, the White House should know that the evidence against Donald Trump will not be hidden forever. On day one as president, I will order the release of every document related to this impeachment inquiry. The American people deserve to know the truth,” posted Warren on social media.

Warren made similar comments over the weekend; suggesting the President must “prove” his innocence.

“All the president’s lawyers have done today is make the case for documents and witnesses. If Trump didn’t do anything wrong when he withheld aid for personal, political reasons—well, release the documents and prove it to us. They won’t, because what Trump did was illegal,” posted Warren on social media.
