Yeah we did! It’s been a great season for the Gophers.
As a Clemson fan, I’d just like to say that it was targeting, and the right call was made on the incompletion. You can make anything a catch in slow motion. If the receiver had been 30 yards up the field and dropped it, they damn sure wouldn’t have spotted the ball at the drop. They’d have rightfully ruled incomplete and run the next play.
That being said, I’m ready to see them play them faux tigers. Go Tigers!
Let me say thank you to all the contributors to this thread; it was most enjoyable reading. Let me say that umpires not making the right decision is not limited to your footy code. Personally my footy team (Australian Rules football) has been the victim of poor umpiring in many, many games over the decades.
As a footnote Aussie Rules fans’ “term of endearment” for umpires is maggot. It used to be white maggot until they started wearing colours other than white.
