What happen was Myles Garrett started Mason Rudolph on his fantasy team. Thatâs what made him so angry. What he didnât know was Mason had the Browns defense on his fantasy team.
All kidding aside, I guess the Lyle Aldazo rule comes into play?
I guess weâll see if the NFL has any balls now. I like the line from the ESPN article: âMyles Garrett committed the closest thing weâve seen to an on-field crime in the modern era of pro football.â
I think it should be a full season, 16 games. And that should NOT count any playoff games that Cleveland might have this season. 16 regular season games plus any playoff games this season.
Didnât want to keep off-topic posting in the other thread. You have a pretty good defense, too. So if kicker is your only concern, youâre doing better than many teams.
I didnât realize it was that bad. Kickers are weird. Sometimes a new setting is all they need. They guy we have now (Josh Lambo) was run out of San Diego for being terrible. Heâs been money for us. I guess I should hope todayâs contest comes down to the kickers.
Funny because San Diego (now LA)'s kicker is Michael Badgley whom we had in camp a year ago and he was great but he was released because of our managementâs blind loyalty to Vinatieri.
Well that went about as I expected. Foles just isnât any good. With the wobbly, wounded duck passes, throws being batted away at the line, interceptions returned for scores and complete offensive futility, looks like we got Bortles 2.0 on our hands. And I especially enjoyed the tip of the cap to Chad Henne, with the numerous check downs.
Pin the loss on Foles? No, thereâs plenty of blame to go around, most notably the run defense giving up almost 300 yards for the third time this year.
But just watching Foles, I donât like anything about him. His throwing motion is crap, his passes are wobbly and lack zip, he canât throw a deep ball, he doesnât seem to have a good grasp of the playbook.
The Jags front office is now just tripling down on stupid. The first bunch of stupid was giving Bortles an extension. The second bunch was throwing tons of money at a career backup to replace Bortles. Now they bench a possible franchise QB to put the career backup back in. The proper perspective with Foles returning from injury is that the team isnât going anywhere anyway, so letâs use the final seven games to continue to develop Minshew. But doing the right thing isnât what this front office is all about. The owner needs to completely clean house in the offseason.
