I don’t know what to tell you. It was not the USA.

I guess he’s denying the fact that Sweeden (along with every other industrialized nation) has done a 180 degree turn on immigration.

Sweden’s immigration stance has changed radically over the last decade Sweden told people to open their hearts to immigrants 10 years ago. Its U-turn has been dramatic

Germany and The U.K, are still a little behind the curve. Having issues with stabby Islam and not necessarily acting to stop it.

Not denying that at all. Sweden has updated their immigration policy for a variety of reasons. Their country their rules.

This is the BS I was pointing out. ā€œalong with every other industrialized nationā€.

The ā€œotherā€ has always been used by Pols to get in, or stay in power. This is not new.

There are issues that can be addressed, w/out being jackasses.

Sweden allows immigration, but the focus has shifted from primarily asylum immigration to labor immigration. Sweden has a long history of immigration, and it continues to be a country that attracts foreign experts, researchers, and talent. However, the government has implemented changes to its migration policy, aiming for a more sustainable and responsible approach.

Good for them

That was really the beginning of the end:

ā€œA democracy cannot exist as a permanent form of government. It can only exist until the voters discover that they can vote themselves largesse from the public treasury. From that moment on, the majority always votes for the candidates promising the most benefits from the public treasury, with the result that a democracy always collapses over loose fiscal policy followed by a dictatorship.ā€
― Alexander Fraser Tytler

There is a drinking phrase, ā€œbreak the sealā€, that gets the ball rolling. The tough times at the era of FDR (depression, war) set the stage for breaking the seal toward voting for largesse. The government goodies haven’t stopped flowing since then. I don’t know how long this trajectory can continue, but we are well on our way. Even libs acknowledge that the federal deficit cannot be sustained under its current growth rate. But largesse is sweeter than medicine. I’ll differ from Eagle-Keeper in laying all of that at the feet of the Dem party. It’s the entire culture. Both parties.

I’m sure our FIFTH COLUMN media [MSNBC, NEW YORK TIMES, CNN, ABC, CBS, NBC, NPR, WASHINGTON POST, ATLANTIC MAGAZINE, New York Daily News, Time, in addition to Facebook, Politico, Snopes, Fact Check… ETC., and countless Yellow Journalists] will be out in force to support and lie about Zohran Mamdani’s hate for Jews and wanting globalize violence perpetrated against Israeli

Thank god for Fox News and Breitbart then

Pretty much everyone other than the American left views mass immigration as a net negative to their countries:

The government-mandated wage in NYC is $16.50 per hour, $11.00 on tipped wages.

If somebody making burgers is earning $30 it’s because of the novel idea that… some employer finds $30 in value for each hour of his work.

If you don’t want to buy their hamburgers because you think they are over-priced, I’d suggest you not buy them.

What a stupid bumper sticker.

There going full on Che and are saying what’s the problem. It would be like the right electing Mengele and just shrugging their shoulders saying what’s the big deal.

Free market will go to those areas if profits is to be made.

Now I have a question. If few federal stores can’t compete against large corporations with hundreds if not thousand of stores buying power…then what?

lots of votes, however.

Allan

if one lives in a rural area, one can thank the government for having electrcity and internet, in many cases.

As far as a Co-OP style of grocery store being availbale to those in food deserts, with the public supporting it with taxes, it will be able to compete.

The myth the for profit system is the only system that can provide goods and services successfully, never dies.

Why can’t we do that as well?

So you’re saying that government run grocery stores will need taxes from other tax payers to compete…thus driving up expanse for other people to subsidize those few stores.
