Not denying that at all. Sweden has updated their immigration policy for a variety of reasons. Their country their rules.

The history and intent behind asylum date back to the atrocities foisted upon the Jewish people in WWII. Today asylum is largely sought by people to flee poverty, crime and dysfunctional governments as these people travel many miles to countries with generous welfare states.
