The study compared infection rate for people with three shots to those with only two. Here is an excerpt from the Haaretz article:
A Maccabi Healthcare Services study, the first of its kind in the world, surveyed 149,144 people who received the booster shot and a control group of 675,630 people who received the second shot in January or February. Of the former, only 37 tested positive, compared with 1,064 of the latter. The first group was surveyed a week after receiving the third dose.
The study is showing the incremental effect of a booster shot assuming that the person is already fully vaccinated. The unvaccinated are not considered.
The study was completed only a week later. It is not clear how people were selected for the booster trial. It is likely that the those with the most severe health problems and those with COVID symptoms would not have participated in the trial, which may bias the results.

Out of the 180M that have been fully vaccinated, if you were to say that 1% of those died because of the vaccine, that would be 1.8M folks. For you, what percentage number makes it safe?

Arguing over rhetoric. But I would say prior to delta we had the ā ā ā ā ā ā pretty well shut down. Still is in many parts of the country. Kind of sucks the even Iām going to tonight will be masked but at least itās happening. And my state has very few deaths and is completely open.
