Congrats to Chase and NASCAR for pulling off the season. Chase and his dad become only the third father/son combo to win championships. And at 24 becomes the third youngest to win the big prize.
That was very satisfying to watch Chase win that race and the Championship. I would have been just as glad to see Denny win it … he is so deserving … but mostly, I am just happy the Brad or Joey didn’t win.
Nice fifth place finish for Johnson … a win in his last race would have been the best. As long as Chase or Denny came in second, that is. 
Denny will get there. 2010 season still stings.
And it will be interesting to see how Jimmy does in IndyCar next year. I hope that he decides to do some ovals. And they mentioned Sunday that he might also be looking for a sports car ride.
