House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi erupted on a reporter Wednesday after he pressed the California congresswoman about progressive victories in this week’s primaries; abruptly asking him, “What’s your problem?”
The former Speaker of the House was speaking with reporters when she was asked to comment on a string of far-left victories in Tuesday’s election; saying Democratic leadership may no longer represent the base of the party.
“Leader Pelosi, to that end, the Democratic Party is increasingly younger, more female, more diverse, more progressive. Should the Democratic House leadership look that way?” asked the journalist.
“Well I’m female, I’m progressive… So what’s your problem? Two out of three ain’t bad,” fired-back Pelosi.
“Let’s not get yourself carried away as an expert on demographics and the rest of that,” she added.
