Because court admin jobs are cushy, well paid and have good benefits? Seems weird to up and leave because of that. An office like that should just hum along regardless of who gets elected in or out, with regular staff continuing their duties.
Mountain_Soldier: LucyLou:Why did all those people up and quit?
New boss, a democrat. Why would they want to stick around?

That’s pretty much what I thought as well. But I’m thinking Safiel is on to something in his last post. That happens more often than people think. You either have to quit, transfer, or deal with it.
People stuck in jail, motions not getting filed, cases not starting when they’re supposed to.
We get what we deserve.
…and also voted for Fetterman.

I wonder if they transferred.
Really, what would a Democrat elected official do any different in a county clerks office?

Transfer if they could. But there has to be a reason. Oh no, that’s a Democrat, I quit, no one ever said. She either made the work environment hostile, or made changes that people would not accept. It’s not uncommon. New bosses and or new management are the cause of many people filing to the exits.
