I should note that the sentencing guidelines call for 0 months to 6 months. If he gets 6 months, he would actually do about 5 months & 1 week with automatic gain time.
The Judge is free to ignore the sentencing guidelines and that is NOT at all out of question with this particular Judge, who is known for relatively stiff sentencing.
I would imagine the worst case for Papadopoulos would be about a 1 year in prison.

With a recommendation on the high side, it would seem likely that this is one of those ones that was going to tell it all on the campaign and on Trump who didn’t have any great secrets to tell.

Six months? We’ve been doing this for almost two years…and he gets…6 months? You’ve been running around, yelling about Russian collusion and the perp gets…6 months? This entire country has been turned upside down, divided, polarized, calls for impeachment and the guy who started it all off…only gets 6 months? If this is true…this whole thing has been bull feces from the start. The light their hair on fire ilk that’s been running around this forum spouting their garbage about a matter where it’s recommended that the offender should only get six months…should be ashamed.

How long do you think he should get for pleading down to only one charge of lying to Federal agents in exchange for his assistance with the Prosecutors and investigators looking into the rest of these matters?
I’m assuming you do in fact understand how a plea bargain works, right? Because judging by your ranting post, I’m not 100% certain you do, so I need to clarify.

You do realize it is common for prosecutors to work out pretty good deals with little fish who help them catch the bigger fish, right?
