“U.S. District Judge Dabney Friedrich in Washington on Monday approved a request to appoint a so-called firewall counsel envisioned as part of an earlier ruling on Mueller’s concern about providing evidence to Yevgeny Prigozhin, a longtime associate of Russian President Vladimir Putin. Prigozhin’s firm, Concord Management and Consulting LLC, was also indicted.”
So, Mueller is concerned about giving Putin’s buddy American intelligence/secrets while our Executive branch is holding hands with them. Our executive branch is upside down.
Sounds like your assessment is upside down. Mueller is going to give classified material to a Russian. The review and any redaction means nothing to a professional. They can fill in the blanks. Laymen think that it is only technical details that are classified. Sometimes the very “fact of” something is classified. They will figure it out… and all so that Mueller can continue his witch hunt.
“The U.S. said last month that the sensitive material includes information describing the government’s investigative techniques, identities of people and companies that are cooperating, and personal identifying information on individuals in the U.S. who were victims of identity theft.”
Assuming the Russians are guilty, they already know what they did.
What they DONT know is what WE know about what they did. That type of information is typically held at codeword levels.
But Mueller’s gonna give it to em. Why?
In all criminal prosecutions, the accused shall enjoy the right to a speedy and public trial, by an impartial jury of the State and district wherein the crime shall have been committed, which district shall have been previously ascertained by law, and to be informed of the nature and cause of the accusation; to be confronted with the witnesses against him; to have compulsory process for obtaining witnesses in his favor, and to have the Assistance of Counsel for his defence.
Note the Manafort situation for instance - once that part of the investigation was complete, then charges cam - at which point Manafort was eligible for a speedy trial.
