When Newt got rid of the in house experts, to save money…the idea was to use lobbyists. 30 years later…corps are writing many of the bills, and heavily influencing nearly all of them.

Both parties have been in bed with Corporations, for years. Our representatives, for the most part, stopped representing the rest of us years ago. There are still a few holdovers, but they’re just as quickly relegated to the back of the bus. I’ve always said being a representative in government shouldn’t be a career path. That’s why we end up getting screwed by politicians who have never held any other job.
