Every victim of a crime perpetrated by illegals is relevant to the discussion and personalizing the victims is always an effective means of getting public support on your side.
You made that up and it does not represent reality. For example…
In your make-believe world. The following would be true.
If the border family separation problem is as rampant as some believe, then it should be easy to persuade policymakers without the use of one little girl as an example.
If policy makers need to use one little girl, then the problem must not be very significant.
But in the REAL world, that one little girl (who ironically was not even separated) actually DID make a big difference in policy.
You seem to be missing the point. If the problem is so vast, there must be many, many, many others who could be the face of the issue, ones whose family does not object. Why the need for Tibbets against her family’s wishes?
I’m not missing anything. Whether she “needs” to be mentioned specifically isn’t even relevant, what’s relevant are the circumstances of her death and the fact it was totally unnecessary, preventable, and the direct result of decades of failed policies allowing illegals to enter and remain in the US to commit crimes against US citizens.
People will ignore statistics, which is why personalizing the victims works and always has.
Statistically, she was more likely to die at the hands of a citizen-it’s amazing we spent half as much time and effort dealing with crime from citizens that we talk about dealing with illegal immigrants.
I have nothing to backpedal. I stand on the side of justice. Michael Brown forfeited his own life when he reached for Officer Wilson’s firearm.
I don’t freak out every time a cop kills someone-but there are some very clear examples of law enforcement officers abusing their power and getting away with some bad things.
That’s fine with me. I come here to balance and correct proglibs. I do that by posting. I could not care less if you choose to avoid debating me.
But you libs likely WILL respond. Know why? Because my posts are effective and they reveal weakness in the lib narrative. From my posts, the other readers juuuustt might see the deception in the lib posts. And that scares you libs. SO … you feel compelled to do damage control by refuting my posts.
If I were just a troll… it would not work that way.
Wrong. Deaths from non-citizens is not completely preventable without massive police state enforcement. It would truly take a big brother style government to enforce that, and even then, it’s not perfect.
Then it’s not money well-spent. It’s not doing the job. And part of the reason is nonsense we see from these corrupt sheriffs in places like Alabama and Arizona. We need to stop wasting $$ buying private vacation homes and having to pay off lawsuits for not doing your job.
Doesn’t change the facts that we keep chasing leaves and shadows while we have major domestic problems we aren’t addressing effectively.
