MLK Book banning due to CRT

That’s not true.

What part?

Show me the teachers enacting racism in the school/classroom (stating or believing one race is superior to another) I’ll go be right there with conservatives demanding they resign.

Ready go…

Everybody is equal and we will pay attention to people of only certain races. That is your idea of anti racism?
If you had slavery of one race would it not be racist if the masters conceded all races were equal?
Are attacks on Asian people racist, if people who do it do not think they are superior to Asians? I would say yes.

Unless you want to understand the rationale and influence that the intelligentsia had on the revolution. Pipes argues that THAT goes back to Locke and maybe more importantly Helvetius.

A partial quote appears here

but maybe a more important aspect of this lies in what the intelligentsia considers “education”.

I won’t try to dispute however you argue this as I am sure you have better credentials than I do. But you may also have more indoctrination than I do. I’ll just post this and let the proverbial chips fall…

There were three different revolutions. That was more my point than the foundations for each of them.

1905 and February 1917 - you are right

Nov 1917 - i would argue

And i never flaunt my credentials. Only my bald spot.

The funny thing is that i responded to the poster because i actually agree with you

What November revolution wrought was destruction.

Do you have an opinion on Richard Pipes and his histories of that revolution?

Yea of course and he writes of three revolutions not one. Intelligentsia has everything to do with it. We are in a very weird way agreeing.

Revolutionary period if you want to make it more nerdy

May be i am being pedantic by isolating the nov 1917 revolution because it could not stand on its own and the players were all in play but what i was saying was what drove it was a different goal. Part of which was destruction.

I have long recognized the three. It is only my shorthand you see if I use the word revolution as a singular noun.

Right that’s why i think as redcomet(i may have done something wrong i can’t “at” him) pointed, the napoleónic wars are a perfect starting point.

The Decembrists were nobles and soldiers but also highly educated.

However the nov 1917 revolution wasn’t based in that. It was based in destroying that what was accomplished. The truth is that the country was never and arguably will never be ready for a true representative democracy. Millenia of strongmen rule.

So no examples of these racist educators teaching our k-12 to hate each other because of their skin?

I gave you an example of treating people differently because of their skin color, some receiving the added privilege of educators caring about what they wanted. You do your criteria of discrimination.

All of it. Anything you say about the topic.
