I saw Mission Impossible: The Final Reckoning over the weekend, and it absolutely delivered!
As usual, the stunts in this picture were truly thrilling and spectacular, especially the plane scene. Tom Cruise as well as the rest of the cast and crew once again scored the goods.
If this was indeed the last Mission Impossible movie, it was a great way to close out the franchise.
I absolutely loved this movie, especially on IMAX. I’m already looking forward to seeing this movie for a second and, maybe, third time.
I definitely recommend everyone to see this movie in theaters.
It nicely filled in some gaps from the prior movie, and older films as well.
What i didn’t like was the relentless buildup of the mythos of the Ethan Hunt character. It’s movie #8 and if you hadn’t noticed by now what he had done in the previous 7, then you weren’t paying attention.
And SPOILER ALERT I also didn’t care for the outcome of another character. It was almost like the writers heard all the complaints about how they disposed of Ilsa Faust in the last movie and said “hold my beer.”
Other than that, great entertainment.
