It appears a young man, who identified as a woman and changed his name to Robin is the shooter. It also appears that there is some link to the Church, with his mother possibly having been a past employee. There appears to be pre-attack social media posts with weapons and a manifesto, but currently taken down.

How many non-trans mass shootings have we endured, where the situation is boiled down to a crazy person do a horrible thing to others?
Please donât demonize gender identity, unless you are prepared to say being a straight male is the reason the other 99% o f mass shootings occur.

Itâs awful and evil and terrible and I canât believe the pain this â â â â â â inflicted on those little â â â â â â â kids,
But please donât twist this into some âtrans killersâ thread - itâs probably too late⌠- because evil doesnât care about gender. But people will now use this to further demonize that population, despite the fact that 99% of mass shootings are perpetrated by straight people.

Sorry. Just a suggestion because I know where this thread is going to go. Likewise with the parallel thread on this topic.
Bringing up the gender dysphoria of the shooter is a great way to further divide us.
I donât want to breach TOS issues, but if you look at the other thread, and consider the OP, I think my point will be reinforced.

Hear is my thought. We live in a society that villifies anyone different. If you are gay, villified. If you are trans, villified. If you are an immigrant legal or not, villified. A member of a party that one disagrees with, villified. A comedian who doesnt suck up to a president, villified. When does it stop? Does it stop when I give up my freedom to disagree, to voice my opinion, when you give up yours? How does this resolve? Id love to know how this all resolves itself? Or does it?

I donât want a broad brush evaluation, I want a critical review of this incident and the individual who committed the violence. I want to know what claimed were his motives, his history, his relation to the Church targeted, if any.

looks like there is more information about Robin. I was not going to comment about this sick puppy, but, it appears that information in being released along with HIS photograph. I feel sorry for the state of affairs that this society is slipping too.
wonder where his parents were (and the support network) that could have helped this wacko become a productive member of society.
