Miles Taylor, former chief of staff of DHS, endorses Biden

Clearly you don’t understand how this works, but okay…just keep on believing that. No matter who the president is, these agencies have one duty and Trump is making it difficult to perform those duties.

Trump would be doing a great job as leader of the free world if nothing bad ever happened.

United States citizens care, especially when the President of the United States is attacking an American company for his own political gain. This is economic terrorism from a lifelong grifter.

It’s not wrong, it’s irrelevant.

 One duty!

Okay.

That is one opinion. I believe that having several people who have worked directly and closely with the President come out and say definitively and emphatically that he has proven himself, with his actions and inactions, to be wholly unfit for the office to be very, very relevant. These are people that would know better than anyone else, having first hand experience in seeing just how monumentally unfit for office he truly is.

If it were one or two, sure, they may be irrelevant with an axe to grind. But it is man after man after woman after woman, all saying the same thing over and over again. From the absolute highest levels of working direct with Trump. Their insight and opinions and known love for this country is highly relevant.

Sounds like someone didn’t think DHS should concentrate its efforts on enforcing our immigration laws. He should have quit earlier.

Still irrelevant. The President is elected. They are not.

That does not matter. Their opinion is relevant that he should not be re-elected. He is unfit for office.

their duty is to enact and carry out the priorities and policies of the president.

there opinion don’t mean jack ■■■■ to anyone but themselves.

Again, irrelevant. Miles Taylor can express his opinion by not voting for him, just like you.

Miles Taylor has never been President nor have you, neither of you has no idea what “fit for the office” requires. It is an opinion and his is no more important than yours or mine.

Once a man is elected, that’s it.

Vote. If your guy loses, do your job or resign.

There were a lot of people who said Obama was unfit for the office. Did that make him unfit for office? How about a General? You want Generals deciding which Presidents are fit for office?

These people will throw overboard a Miles Taylor, and yet this Republican celebration goes on last night.

How many Cabinet members and other members of his administration that worked directly with Obama day-in and day-out came out and say that he was completely unfit for office?

There are a lot more than Generals saying Trump is completely unfit for office and should not be in this position. I trust that they love this country and are speaking the truth. General Mattis is a man I completely and wholly believe, in particular.

Irrelevant.

Confirmation bias. You don’t know Mattis, you believe him because he confirms your bias.

The President is elected. It doesn’t matter how many believe what once he is sworn in.

There are two processes allowing for removal of an “unfit” President, neither of which involves the chief of staff of the DHS.

If you and Miles Taylor think he is unfit for office, go vote and learn to live with the outcome, either way.

Joe Biden is obviously incoherent and unfit for any office. If he gets elected, guess what?

Not true. They matter a lot to me and several other Americans. When you have a massive wave of people who have worked directly for Trump all saying the same thing, that he is unfit for office, then their opinions do in fact matter to anyone who is not a Trump-lover.

Look, it is great you have finally found your favorite politician of all time. A man who fully embodies everything about you and what you believe in and represent. He is not for me at all. But more power to you for having such a huge love for this man. I get that no one else’s opinion of him matters. Not the men and women who have fought an bled for this nation. Not the men and women who have worked directly with him for a long period of time. And all of which came to the conclusion that he is unfit. It is great that you can ignore all of them, and instead put 100% of your trust and faith in a politician like Donald Trump. But not all of us are willing to blindly follow any man, let alone a politician, and especially someone like Trump. But you keep doing you. I’m happy for you!

Some of us really believed in Reagan. Others really believed in JFK. I was always more of a Goldwater man myself. But if there were countless people who worked directly for Goldwater that came out and said unequivocally that he was unfit for office, I would take a serious pause and try to asses why so many of them were all saying the exact same thing. I would not have blindly followed Goldwater over a cliff, because no man deserves that adulation from me. We are clearly different in this regard. And that is okay.
