Mike Gallagher gets outfoxed by socialist Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and co

#1

I hate to admit it but on Mike Gallagher’s radio talk show [Mon, Mar 11, 2019] he attacks Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez for indicating capitalism is “irredeemable”, and he goes on to condemn the former Colorado Governor John Hickenlooper for refusing to acknowledge he’s a “capitalist”.

What is inexcusable is, Mike Gallagher takes great pride in labeling and embracing what our founders created as being “capitalism” or a “capitalist” system. But these references were unknown to our founders, and never used by them to identify our system.

In fact “capitalism” was used and popularized by Karl Marx to falsely identify our free market system, and then attack it without appearing to attack freedom itself ___ the inalienable right of people being free to mutually agree in their contracts and associations.

By contrast, our Founder’s often describe our system in a manner promoting a “free” market, “free” trade, and “free” enterprise ___ “free” being the operative word which socialist and communist leaders do not want you to know is what they are attacking when they attack the illusive system they call “capitalism”.

For example see Thomas Jefferson’s : First Annual Message to Congress

”Agriculture, manufactures, commerce, and navigation, the four pillars of our prosperity, are the most thriving when left most free to individual enterprise.”

So, Mike Gallagher, and many other media personalities, including many on Fox News Channel, by adopting Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez’s language which references our system as capitalism, or a capitalist system, and embracing that terminology instead of referencing our system using the prefix “free” as our founders did, they assist Alexandria Cortez and her ilk in concealing what these socialist leaders are really attacking which is attacking mankind’s inalienable right to be free to mutually agree in their contracts and associations.

For more on the distinctions between our system, as intended by our Founders, and “Capitalism”, see: PART TWO: Free Enterprise is Better than Capitalism The following descriptions of “Capitalism” and “Free Enterprise” are noted as follows:

Capitalism (crony capitalism): A system where the law encourages market forces and also gives preference and special benefits to the sector of the economy owned by big capital—including big corporations like in Corporatism, but also wealthy foreign and multinational corporations, and highly influential non-corporate institutions such as rich foundations, moneyed trusts, political parties, well-funded lobbies and special interest groups, affluent non-profit entities, wealthy families, moneyed foreign investors, and others with large amounts of capital. Under this system, the rich rule society, and they naturally influence government to maintain policies that benefit the rich more than others.

Free Enterprise: A system where the law encourages market forces and gives no special preferences; it protects equal rights for all individuals and entities and leaves initiative and enterprise to private individuals, groups, businesses and organizations that are all treated equally and with minimal legislation by the legal code.

JWK

The liberty of the people to succeed or fail at their own hand is a socialist leader’s nightmare, and not the American Dream.

You DO realize the irony here, right? You decry AOC’s description of our system as “capitalism” instead of “free enterprise”, then follow up with definitions of those terms that demonstrate conclusively that we are indeed a (crony) capitalist society, not a free enterprise one. You get that, right?

#3

I am still not sure why this distinction matters.

#4

What I get, and you may be unaware of, our Constitution does not support crony capitalism, which in fact is robbery!

Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez claims to be an advocate of hard working people living in the Bronx. If that is so, why is she not advocating an end to the unconstitutional “Temporary Victory Tax” of 1943, which began federal confiscation of the bread which working people have earned by the sweat of their labor?

JWK

"To lay with one hand the power of the government on the property of the citizen [a working person’s earned wage] and with the other to bestow upon favored individuals, to aid private enterprises and build up private fortunes is none the less a robbery because it is done under forms of law and called taxation."____ Savings and Loan Association v.Topeka,(1875).

#5

you see it’s like the tippiest of tippiest tops and stuff. mmmhmm.

#6

Be that as it may. My point was that she DOES understand the system in place. If your representative have bold ideas about how to clean up the corrupting influence of business on government as described above, let’s see his new deal.

Just like homosexuals co-opted the word "gay’ to soften and obscure what they really are, the word “capitalism” is used by socialists and communists to attack our free market system without having to use phraseology containing the word “free”. It’s more convenient and sort of innocuous to condemn evil “capitalists” and “capitalism”, then to opposed and attack those engaging if free enterprise, free trade or a free market system . . . “free” being the operative word. Students in many colleges are taught by their professors that capitalism is evil, and that we now live under a capitalist system ___ therefore our system must be changed when the truth is, our free market system must be restored!

Have you noticed how Cortez gains support for her socialist/communist agenda? Has she attacked the tools of oppression, namely the Federal Reserve banking cartel’s money monopoly which plunders the real material wealth created by labor and industry using its Federal Reserve interest bearing notes? Has she condemned the unconstitutional “Temporary Victory Tax” of 1943 which started confiscating the bread which working people earned by the sweat of their labor? No! She has not attacked the tools of oppression which are now used to slowly carry out a death sentence for our free market system while fattening the fortunes of those who control and manipulate a fraudulent money system. Indeed, if Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez really is against “capitalism” and embraces a free market system, would she not work to remove the tools used by capitalists to carry out their evil?

JWK

We have, in this country, one of the most corrupt institutions the world has ever known. I refer to the Federal Reserve Board. This evil institution has impoverished the people of the United States and has practically bankrupted our government. It has done this through the corrupt practices of the moneyed vultures who control it. — Congressman Louis T. McFadden in 1932 (Rep. Pa)

#8

Speaking of attacks on the free market system, how are those tariffs that Trump instituted working out?

What about the government welfare to farmers?

#9

Where do you think money should come from?

#10

It’s not about where money should come from. It’s about what is used for money and a private banking institution’s interest bearing notes being made a legal tender, and creating a money issuing monopoly which dishonorable and corrupted capitalists use to plunder what labor and industry produce in a free market system.

JWK

“Of all the contrivances for cheating the laboring class of mankind, none have been more effectual than that which deludes them with paper money. This is the most effectual of inventions to fertilize the rich man’s field by the sweat of the poor man’s brow.”_____ Daniel Webster.

#11

Actually my question is a very important one.

Where do you think money should come from?

#12

Huh? What are you referring to when you use the word “money”. And what do you mean by “should come from”?

JWK

All the perplexities, confusions, and distresses in America arise, not from defects in the Constitution or confederation, not from want of honor or virtue, as much as from downright ignorance of the nature of coin, credit, and circulation. __ John Adams

#13

Money is pretty self explanatory. Dollars… moolah… cheddar… Benjamins… currency… etc.

#14

What do you mean by “obscure and soften what they really are”? What are they really?
Also, engaging in criticism of capitalism is not necessarily being taught that it is evil.

#15

You are giving me references without explaining what you mean by “money”.

What are you referring to when you use the word “money”. And what do you mean by “should come from”?

JWK

"This [Federal Reserve Act] establishes the most gigantic trust on earth. When the President [Wilson} signs this bill, the invisible government of the monetary power will be legalized…the worst legislative crime of the ages is perpetrated by this banking and currency bill." — Charles A. Lindbergh, Sr. , 1913

#16

If you have a dollar in your hand… where do you think that that currency should come from.

#17

I meant exactly what I wrote. You are free to interpret it however you desire.

As to your remark about “capitalism”, what I posted was directed at socialist Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez’s remarks:

Now, what are her feelings with regard to free enterprise, free trade, free market, and the people’s inalienable right to be free to mutually agree in their contracts and associations?

JWK

The Bernie Sanders and Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez’s socialism will promise food on the table, free public housing, health care for all, guaranteed income, free college tuition, and other niceties by taxing the so called rich; and if by chance their socialist leadership gains control because of such promises made, the end result, as John Adams stated, “will be revengeful, bloody, and cruel” and especially so for the most productive, hardworking members of the community.

#18

Trumps new budget cuts farm subsidies.

I am sure that will go over well in the farm belt.

#19

Stop beating around the bush. You asked me, “Where do you think money should come from”?

What are you referring to when you use the word “money”. And what do you mean by “should come from”?

As I previously pointed out the subject is not about where money should come from. It’s about what is used for money and a private banking institution’s interest bearing notes being made a legal tender, and creating a money issuing monopoly which dishonorable and corrupted capitalists use to plunder what labor and industry produce in a free market system.

If you are not interested in pursing this subject, that’s fine.

The thing is that where money… currency… what we use as a method of exchange changes an economy a lot depending on where it comes from.

So where do you think money should come from?

I don’t know how to ask it in any simpler way.
