The story I read about the facility in Virginia alleges the abuse goes back to 2007 I think. In other words, if true it started under two previous administrations.
Yep that’s true. Rather disgusting the way some are reacting to this.
What’s wrong with focusing on the child abuse that is currently occurring first? There’s plenty of time to spread the blame around for past crimes against humanity. But that only serves to take the focus off the children currently being abused and IMO that too is reprehensible because the motivation is purely political.

I wasnt speaking on the issue of the abuse itself. I was musing about how often people talk when they arent authorized to do so.
Of course it’s reprehensible if true. I just have a very sickening feeling at least some of it is and has been happening for some time.

Separating these children forcibly from their parents is already child abuse. That they’re allegedly being forcibly drugged without consent from their parents is criminal.
If proven true, everyone of the offenders, including any in the administration, should be prosecuted for crimes against humanity.
Unfortunately it seems we haven’t learned any lessons from Nazi Germany or the Tuskegee experiments.
Yes it’s been happening for awhile but now is not the time and place for “whataboutism”. I know that you are disturbed by this but you are inadvertently giving Trump cover by saying “yes it’s evil but it’s been occurring for while.” The unintended result is it normalizes the behavior and we move on to the next incident.
These children will be much better served if we all work together to end it now. Then when the iron is still hot we skewer any and everyone that ever had a hand in it. No matter what their political affiliation is

On ‘‘The Five’’ yesterday, they were claiming this as justification for removing children from their parents, standard trump reasoning for the separation. I never heard Tumpkins, like you, putting forward any proof.
