Melania : Twenty days to History

Be honest who here has got a ticket to see the Melania movie?.

I am waiting for @travisg review of this documentary.

Amazon have spent $75 million on this documentary!!! Mindboggling they spent this.

And yes I am aware its $8 million opening is strong for a documentary but it will not recoup its costs.

Coincidentally the director Brett Ratner is in a number of photos with everyones favorite paedophile Jeffery Epstein.

I get the impression that it will easily make some money. Not because it’s good though, according to reviews. Because of who it is and MAGA fever.

Not verified, but so freaking funny.

Imagine Jill and Joe Biden hiring an Epstein buddy/sexual assaulter to direct a documentary about Jill. Without the truckloads of hypocrisy you wouldn’t have maga.

“ “Melania,” the documentary detailing the 20 days in the first lady’s life before President Donald Trump took office for the second time last year, is set to beat expectations, earning $8 million at the box office in its opening weekend, the best documentary opening in more than a decade, according to reports. “

Anything that the child left hates so much is probably worth a look

Yeah, well, you know… they have enough “things” and are spending their money on “experiences” now.

And with a cost of $75 million, $8 million opening is not indicative of it ever recouping its costs.

Not sure about Foxs claim - Taylor Swifts Eras documentary opened to $34 million. Though i am sure they will argue its a hybrid concert/documentary.

Going further back, In 2004 Michael Moores Fahrenheit 9/11 opened to $23 million. That has really set the gold standard for documentaries.

In 2009 Michael Jacksons This is It opened to $23.2 million.

Justin Biebers 2011 concert/documentary opened to $29.5 million.

I am sure for those of you who are Trump supporters this will be an enjoyable experience but I just cannot fathom what is interesting about ovserving her life in the run up to the inaguration. I would say the same about Jill Biden, Michelle Obama and Laura Bush.

For real. The only truly interesting First Ladies are Mary Todd Lincoln for her tragedy and Eleanor Roosevelt for her work creating the UN and mostly writing its charter. Most of the other ones are pretty boring for the most part.

You’re going to post word walls over a documentary about the first lady now?

So much hate. Good lord

Don’t worry they won’t be putting supermodel gorgeous Melania on the cover of Vogue like they did for plain Jane Jill and big Mike. Lol

Y’all are building a fantasy right now, but it’s an unorganized mess.

Not hate, I talk about movies all the time. Funny how you talk about hate then go onto disparage previous first ladies? Its as if the cult cannot accept anything that happened previous to Trump as anything positive or good.

They specified “non concert” documentary. Not that it matters. The film is a dud lol, but the MAGA faithful will flock to it and fawn over Melania, lovely as she is of course.
