For it to matter the deficit needs to be lowered to negative numbers. That will never happen.

It doesn’t have to, right? Have the federal government set it up and let those that wish to join enroll. If it’s a success more and more people will join.

It will surely work for those getting free health care, including the millions upon millions of foreigners who have invaded our borders from poverty stricken countries to get free government cheese.

It will also work for socialist politicians who promise free health care if they are elected.

After WWII tax rates for the rich were at up to 90%, this wealth was redistributed via the GI bill for free college, job training, cheap mortgages and a lot more.

If you go to the site that shows historical tax rates, that 90% has an asterisk, or a little number next to it, I forget. But if you follow that it leads to finding out very few actually paid 90%. It also explains why.

It’s very telling why socialist politicians love to distribute free government cheese, but not equally assign the work which produces the free cheese. Instead, they simply confiscate the cheese from those who have produced it and then redistribute it to buy votes.
