I said from the beginning that it would at most delay delivery by three weeks.
It’s not going to have any significant immediate effect on production unless the other manufacturers waiting on those parts and components don’t have sufficient stock to keep running.

you are kidding right? there is a huge drop in volume, that is what 25,000 monthly flight cancellation leads to. that is an enormous amount of cargo space volume that cannot be used.
and there is a huge drop in shipping times because things can’t get ship on time because there is lack of available space not to mention that the space available is now at a premium so companies have to decide whether or not to pay 5x increase or hold off.

Just because one can buy mutual fund,ETF or whatever that mimics the Dow, that doesn’t make it a good indicator.
The S&P 500 or the Russel 2000 is a better indicator than the Dow.
The only reason people refer to the Dow is because it has been around the longest.
