(Breitbart) President Donald Trump criticized Attorney General Jeff Sessions Saturday for not acting to hold members of the Justice Department accountable.
“Our A.G. is scared stiff and Missing in Action,” Trump wrote on Twitter. “It is all starting to be revealed – not pretty.”
Yep everybody is out to get him! (What every con artist says when their lies finally start bringing them down)
If only the President had the power to do something about it.
Sessions was this right-wing loudmouth who was ready to get into this job and kick ass and take names. It’s amazing how quickly after getting the job he rolled over. I suspect it’s because when he got access to all this new information regarding Russia, and the lack of evidence against Hillary, etc. that he’d rather worry about own ass rather than potentially chasing ghosts. Personal integrity actually does matter to some people. It appears Sessions has at least a little of that left and wants to hold onto that. I don’t blame him.
That baffles me too.
Trump has ALL the power here, is his boss, and you think Sessions is the scared one? Not the guy passively aggressively whining on twitter about an employee?
Sessions was one of the few Republicans in Congress who got behind Trump early on. I don’t know exactly what makes him tick but aside from the Russian matter he has been pressing the administration’s agenda. We’re probably better off as a nation having Rosenstein manage the Russian mess than a career politician.
It doesn’t baffle me.
Trump and sadly a lot of his supporters are in full on victim mode.
The President’s lack of action regarding this baffles me. One possible conclusion is that Trump is laying low until November gets closer and then he’ll attack and let the cat out of the political bag to win the election.
I doubt that he has that eleventy dimensional thinking.
Every thing the President has done has been about news cycle to news cycle without any long term plan.

The folks who scream deep state liberal bias etc… are no different than the black lives matter people who after the DOJ investigates a police shooting of a black person and finds no wrongdoing screams cover up and racism.

I’m OK with Sessions being extremely cautious WRT the Russia investigations. When the focus turns to the dossier and FISA warrants he will prove his value.
Time is on the Trump administrations side.
