The defendant was charged with possession of a machine gun.
The court found two things.
-the ban on machine guns does not fit with the histories or traditions of the USA concerning firearms as they were not banned until 1983.
-the court found that with over 750,000 machine guns in circulation, they are not “uncommon”.
Both criteria are required for a ban to be upheld.
Now what happens if Pam Bondi decides not to appeal the ruling?
Dolt! Is he so stupid that he does not understand that a dull-tipped knife can be used to stab someone just as leathally as a sharp-pointed one? Not to mention slashing.

I wouldn’t buy one. They are an incredible waste of ammo. (Full auto in general, not just a Tommy)
I’d consider an AR that had the fun switch on it, but other than the “fun” factor there’s not a whole lot of point to full auto. People think it’s some super duper deadly mode. Any semi auto can do almost the same with a fast finger.
Not sure what the parameters of this decision are, but I have always held that the 2nd amendment covers all arms that can be borne by an individual into battle. Crew serve weapons would not fit that definition. So, Tommy gun… ok; M60… no
Oh I know they are a waste, but a hell of a dopamine hit. I remember when we used to do night firing on the range with the A1’s with the tracers mixed in. It was the best 5 seconds ever.
I would be happy with a 3 round burst.
